Alex Douglas - Founder / Director / Director of Cinemathography
Alex Douglas comes from Houston Texas and graduated from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2006 with his degree in Filmmaking. Shortly thereafter, he began Sculpting with Time Productions, seeking to further explore the possibilities of documentary production founded on real relationships with people and personal immersion in the country being documented. Through strikingly powerful rendered visual documentation of people’s lives in the face of global concerns, he explores and creates poetic documentary as apart of his wider goal to expand human connections across cultures.






Camilo Restrepo - Editor
Camilo Restrepo is originally from Medellin, Colombia, and graduated from both the Filmmaking and Photography programs at the San Francisco Art Institute in 2009. He has been a part of Sculpting with Time Productions since 2008, working as editor and translator. Having traveled and lived in several Latin American countries, and in the United States, Camilo has an interest in cultural boundaries and their sources. Working primarily as an editor, he is fascinated with the idea that you can put two seemingly disparate parts into a unified and effective whole.




Santiago Marcial - Assistant Director / Steadicam Operator
Santiago Marcial was born in Chiapas Mexico and was raised in Florida. He graduated from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2007 with his degree in filmmaking. He immediately began working for Sculpting with Time Productions, focused primarily on the strategic use of steady cams and camera housings to create a more sculptural cinema. From shooting atop tall trees to strapping his camera onto kinetic sculptures, Santiago actively seeks new and engaging perspectives to capture the rhythm, light and composition of life as it happens.




Brian Traylor - Co-Founder
Brian Traylor was born in Ohio and moved to San Francisco to study film where he befriended Alex Douglas. His main area of interest lay in ambient cinema scored by experimental musicians. Brian as been involved with organizing and performing at many events, ranging from running a restored silent movie theater to projecting video for concerts and festivals. He has worked extensively with old film and runs a Pasadena, CA based digital media company.
